Chef & eigenaar Edwin Vinke - De Kromme Watergang
Edwin Vinke is the owner and executive chef of De Kromme Watergang. According to Edwin, you must cook with your heart, which he certainly does at De Kromme Watergang. Edwin finds it is important that the chefs in the kitchen fight for each other and form a close team, or else everything falls apart in the kitchen. In his kitchen, there is absolute silence during the service and the motto’s “stop whining and start cooking” and “taste, taste everything!” are very important.
At De Kromme Watergang they always use fresh, honest products. These usually come from the neighborhood, but sometimes they import fresh produce that is not available here. Edwin always works with original, pure, authentic flavours and seasonal products.
