Chef Fabrizio Pinna - Georgio's Café
Fabrizio is originally from Italy, where he worked for more than 5 years at Leon d’Or before he met his Dutch wife in Florence. Consequently, he followed his love to the Netherlands.
Once he moved to the Netherlands, he started working at Mario in Neck. Here, he worked for more than 16 years. After a few years in the small trattoria and pizzeria La Storia (BIB-gourmand) he started as a chef at Mario Uva in 2012. During these years he cooked at a Michelin starred level and the restaurant received no less than three times the award of “Best Italian restaurant in the Netherlands”. Since then, Fabrizio has published a cookbook and was the winner (Italian cuisine) of “chefs line” at 24Kitchen last year.
In January, Fabrizio started as chef at the newest restaurant 0f Maison de George; Georgio’s Café. This is a New York style trattoria in the upcoming Helmerbuurt, located directly across the Vondelpark.
