Chef Roger Rassin - La Rive
Chef Roger Rassin has been working as an executive chef of Michelin starred restaurant La Rive of the famous Intercontinental Amstel Hotel for almost 1o years now. Here, he was inaugurated in 2014 as ‘Master Chef’, the highest attainable title in his profession.
Roger bases his refined innovative cuisine entirely on the French-Mediterranean tradition. He prefers to work with vegetables and seasonal products. The occasional subtle Asian touch completes the style of Rassin. Tasting the dishes of Rassin is an experience in which you are immersed in the luxury that is specific to the Amstel Hotel. The entrance is impressive, the door attendants discreet but present. The dining room has a beautiful view of the water and the floor is covered with a soft carpet. All dishes have their own unique style. The wine list is also impressive, just like the proposed wine-food pairings which is one of their unique selling points.
