Ron Blaauw decided in 2013 to turn his two Michelin starred restaurant into a Gastrobar. He asked himself where he likes to go for dinner or lunch, and therefore started to feel like starting his own Gastrobar – an accessible restaurant, where joy is the most important factor. A place where you come with your family, but also with friends for an evening out or for lunch with business partners. In short, a restaurant where everything is possible and everything is allowed.
And that is exactly what Ron Gastrobar is. It is the only one in the Gastrobar series that has been awarded a Michelin star in 2013. Accessibility, good service and a good price-quality ratio are the most important core elements of Ron Gastrobar.
