Chef Vincent Foppen - ZA Amsterdam
Vincent is the executive chef of the brand-new restaurant in the Houthavens: ZA Amsterdam. At primary school, Vincent already knew he wanted to be a chef. Everywhere he worked he wanted to push himself to the next level. After working at restaurants like Karel V* and de Hoefslag*, he got the opportunity to work for Eleven Madison Park*** in New York.
After living in New York for a year and several trips to South America and Asia he landed at Lysverket in Norway. Here he started off as chef de partie and worked his way up to executive chef. After working at Lysverket for 5 years he was looking for a new challenge and came to Amsterdam. A lively city with a lot of different food cultures is what really inspires him. Together with ZA he is determined to change the Houthavens area into a real foodie destination.
